Le Pavillon wins 2023 Gobal Restaurant of the Year Award
The 5-star superior Dollenberg Black Forest Resort boasts 2 Michelin stars for its Le Pavillon restaurant, one of Germany’s top gourmet legends. Acclaimed chef Martin Herrmann’s haute cuisine creations for Le Pavillon are inspired by nature’s fragrances and the colours of the Black Forest.
Wine is also writ large at this 5-star superior establishment, and the sommelier, Christophe Meyer, has received the Gault&Millau Sommelier of the Year award for two years running as well as the Michelin Sommelier Award for his outstanding expertise and performance. Meyer has a passion for the wines grown in the region, although his list of wines spans 30 countries including the unusual – such as a Syrian red – and the lavish: Château Pétrus.
