With the desire to capture the essence of Tavira and transform it into memorable culinary experiences, chef Luís Brito began exploring the local landscapes and markets, taking inspiration from the ingredients that nature and the sea generously offered.
From the outset, the restaurant's concept was clear: to create a cuisine that was both deeply rooted in tradition and daring in innovation. The name ‘A Ver Tavira’ reflects this perfectly, as it refers to the stunning view over the city and the River Gilão, but also to the idea of ‘seeing’ Tavira through the flavours, aromas and stories told in each dish.
