Located within a historic heritage bank building in downtown Toronto’s vibrant Palmerston–Little Italy neighbourhood, DaNico is a contemporary dining destination that redefines the Italian culinary experience through an exceptional interplay of cuisine, service, and design.
The concept is a collaboration between Liberty Entertainment Group’s Nick Di Donato and Michelin-starred Executive Chef Daniele Corona, whose modern approach to Italian cuisine is matched by an equally distinctive interior vision.
The interior, designed by Nadia Di Donato, Vice President and Creative Director of Liberty Entertainment Group, reflects a refined and highly curated aesthetic that honours the building’s architectural legacy while introducing a sophisticated contemporary identity. Through thoughtful spatial planning, layered textures, custom details, and a balanced material palette, the design creates an immersive atmosphere that is both elegant and memorable. Every element has been considered to complement the guest journey, positioning DaNico as a destination where hospitality, design, and cultural storytelling converge.
