Zhan Lu, a name drawn from the ancient verses of Shijing's Minor Odes.
The restaurant's interior echoes the ocean-inspired design philosophy of InterContinental Kaohsiung, with surfaces evoking the luminous textures of coral reef and the fluid visual poetry of shallow coastal waters.
Under the direction of an accomplished Executive Chinese Chef, Zhan Lu presents an evolved repertoire spanning Cantonese, Shanghainese, and Sichuan cuisines, each reinterpreted with a distinctly Taiwanese sensibility and the finest locally sourced ingredients.
